Alatas Marine Electronics provide experienced qualified engineers to communicate with vessels on a "one to one" basis to try and resolve faults before the ship even arrives at port.

Statistics proven over many years have shown that first line fault finding solve over 50 percent of problems and reduce engineers service visits in port. If the fault is not rectified then it can be isolated to certain components and Spares/Service ordered for the next convenient port.

Alatas Marine Electronics provide competent and experienced engineers to go onboard and troubleshoot all Communication and Navigation equipment. These engineers are multi-talented and investigate problems on different makes models of equipment.
Great savings can be made to the ship owner/manager as one Alatas engineer can attend for numerous problems whereas manufacturer's engineers only board the ship for fault finding on one piece of equipment. They regularly refuse to investigate other problems when requested.

Shore based service contracts can be made up for "On Line" fault finding at nominal monthly fee depending on the level of technical expertise required by the owner.
